Loveland spans the eras — an established core with real masonry history, postwar neighborhoods with original fireplaces, and steady modern growth eastward — sitting where the plains meet the mouth of the Big Thompson's canyon country.
Our Loveland service covers that whole span: masonry maintenance and restoration, mid-century component renewal, and the gas and prefab care its newer homes call for.
Proximity to the canyon mouth gives west Loveland livelier wind than the open plains east of town, and the maintenance emphasis shifts accordingly — anchored caps and sound flashing matter more as you approach the foothills. Across the older neighborhoods, the familiar renewal list applies: crowns, dampers and firebox joints reaching their natural service intervals.
Baker Chimney & Fireplace has served Colorado homeowners since 1997 on a simple standard: inspect carefully, explain clearly, repair properly, and respect the home. We repair when repair makes sense and recommend replacement only when it's genuinely the better long-term answer. Phone lines are answered 24/7, and Loveland sits within our regular Front Range coverage.

Enough to matter for rooftop hardware — terrain-accelerated wind near the foothills works on fasteners that calmer areas never test. We anchor accordingly wherever you are.
An inspection — flue condition, damper operation, firebox integrity and top-end seals all need confirming after a long idle. It's a single visit that replaces guesswork.
Yes, where the system supports it — high-efficiency inserts are the standard upgrade path for drafty open hearths, and we verify fit before anything is ordered.
